Ramadan Al Wulfa Activities

With the arrival of the first week of the holy month of Ramadan, Dubai embarks on a special season of gatherings and experiences inspired by the values of Al Wulfa — reflection, connection, and blessings. Neighborhoods, public squares, and cultural landmarks transform after sunset into vibrant spaces filled with warmth, generosity, and the timeless spirit of Emirati hospitality.

Across the emirate, residents and visitors are invited to take part in a rich calendar of shared iftar and suhoor meals, cultural programs, entertainment events, and major sporting competitions, all reflecting Dubai’s dynamic and diverse identity.

Street Food Festival Returns to Sheikh Hamdan Colony

One of the most anticipated highlights this year is the fourth edition of the Street Food Festival, which transforms Sheikh Hamdan Colony into a lively evening destination for food lovers. The festival celebrates diverse flavors, with a special focus on South Indian and Asian cuisines.

More than 100 restaurants participate across two interconnected zones — Flavor Lane and Culinary Crossroads — offering guests a wide selection of dishes. Beyond food, the festival features live performances, family-friendly activities, and shared Ramadan seating areas that foster a welcoming, communal atmosphere. The event runs daily from February 19 to March 18, from iftar until 2:00 am.

Hai Ramadan at Expo City Dubai

Under Al Wasl Dome at Expo City Dubai, Hai Ramadan offers a unique community celebration that blends cultural storytelling, interactive activities, traditional decorations, and shared iftar experiences. Designed as a welcoming space for families and friends, the event encourages connection and quiet reflection within a contemporary setting that honors Ramadan traditions.

Hai Ramadan runs from February 22 to March 17, creating an atmosphere where heritage and modernity meet in harmony.

Ramadan Majlis and Tents: Celebrating Hospitality

The Ramadan Majlis at Jumeirah Emirates Towers invites guests to enjoy evenings that showcase Emirati hospitality at its finest. Visitors are welcomed with traditional Arabic coffee, the fragrance of incense, and classic flavors accompanied by the soothing sounds of the oud.

At Atlantis The Palm, the Asateer Ramadan Tent returns with large-scale iftar and suhoor experiences inspired by heritage and tradition. Throughout the month, themed evenings highlight various regional cuisines in a luxurious setting overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

Global Village also presents a special Ramadan program combining cultural entertainment, festive decorations, shopping, and international dining options. Meanwhile, Hai Ramadan returns for its fourth season at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, bringing together culinary experiences, retail concepts, and cultural programming.

Row on 45 at DIFC offers refined dining and entertainment experiences, alongside a Ramadan Majlis organized in collaboration with Curated Playlist. In Dubai Design District, the Mercedes-Benz Brand Center hosts a Ramadan program that merges design, culture, and reflection in an elegant contemporary space, featuring artistic and literary experiences.

Extended Mall Hours and Cultural Performances

Major shopping malls and retail destinations across Dubai extend their operating hours during Ramadan, allowing families and individuals to gather, shop, and enjoy late-night outings after iftar. These spaces are adorned with elegant lighting, festive decor, and artistic installations inspired by the spirit of the holy month.

The Al Wulfa program also includes a range of artistic and cultural performances, such as a stand-up comedy show by Abhishek, the “Songs of TV Series” concert on March 6 and 7, a live orchestral performance by Firdaus Orchestra on March 7, the ballet “Gabrielle Chanel” on March 8, and the theatrical play “The First Name” from March 5 to 8.

Community and Wellness Initiatives

Ramadan in Dubai also emphasizes health and community spirit. On February 28, the Ramadan Night Walk invites families to participate in a community-friendly initiative that allows participants to choose routes suited to their preferences.

Major sporting events add further energy to the month, including the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament — one of Dubai’s largest multi-sport competitions — running from February 18 to March 7. The Dubai stage of the UAE Tour 2026 takes place on February 20, while the Al Habtoor Polo Club League is scheduled from February 21 to 28 at Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club.

Through this diverse program of events, Dubai presents a contemporary celebration of Ramadan that blends tradition with innovation. From serene majlis gatherings to vibrant public spaces, the spirit of Al Wulfa is reflected in every shared meal, performance, and community moment — creating evenings filled with warmth, unity, and lasting memories.
