Dubai Digital, in cooperation with a number of government entities in the emirate, organized an intensive and specialized camp aimed at accelerating the inclusion of individual services within the DubaiNow app. The step comes as part of ongoing efforts to unify digital government services and enhance the customer experience through shared digital channels.
The camp is part of a plan to add more than 180 new services to DubaiNow by the end of February 2027. This supports Dubai’s direction to provide government services for individuals through one unified digital channel and brings the emirate closer to achieving the goals of the Shared Digital Channels initiative.
Representatives from several entities took part in the camp, including the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Police, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Health, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Dubai Culture, the Department of Finance, the Community Development Authority, and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.
These entities are working to complete the transfer of their services to the DubaiNow app, with more government entities expected to join the implementation phases in the coming stages. This will expand the range of services available to individuals through the application.
His Excellency Matar Al Hemeiri, Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Digital Government Establishment, said the Shared Digital Channels initiative represents an important step in developing the way government services are delivered. He noted that it brings services together through specialized digital channels that offer customers a clearer and easier experience, supported by artificial intelligence technologies.
He added that this step comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. The directives aim to strengthen an integrated digital government model that places people’s needs at the center of priorities, while improving access to services, speed of completion, and overall quality.
These efforts fall under the Shared Digital Channels initiative, which aims to deliver Dubai’s services through seven unified and specialized digital platforms. The initiative supports quality of life and further strengthens the emirate’s global competitiveness.
