Dubai Residency Offers a Five-Year Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa

The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has announced that the five-year multiple-entry tourist visa allows visitors to enter the United Arab Emirates several times throughout the visa’s validity period, without the need to apply for a new visa for each visit.

The authority explained that the visa provides greater flexibility for travelers who wish to visit the country regularly, while complying with the approved terms, conditions, and permitted periods of stay.

Length of Stay Under the Five-Year Tourist Visa

Dubai Residency stated that the visa is available to visitors of all nationalities and allows its holder to stay in the United Arab Emirates for up to 90 days during each visit.

The stay may also be extended for an additional 90 days, provided that the visitor’s total period of stay in the country does not exceed 180 days within a single year.

Documents Required to Obtain the Visa

Applicants must submit a recent personal photograph and a copy of a passport or travel document that is valid for at least six months.

The required documents also include a bank statement covering the previous six months, valid health insurance within the UAE, and either an onward travel ticket or a departure ticket from the country.

Financial Requirement

Applicants are required to provide proof of an available bank balance of $4,000, or the equivalent in another foreign currency, during the six months preceding the date of application.

Proof of sufficient funds is one of the main requirements for completing the application process for the multiple-entry tourist visa.

How to Apply for the Dubai Tourist Visa

Applicants can submit their visa requests through the digital channels of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, either through its official website or smart application.

The application can also be completed in person by visiting one of the Customer Happiness Centers or Amer service centers, in accordance with the approved procedures and requirements.
